Mbappe is determined to turn things around at Real Madrid. For all the people who claim he shouldn’t be compared to CR7, they do it anyway with the expectation set on him.

Mbappe has been average but you’d think he’s not scored from open play or beaten opponents multiple times this season from the banter as well as the overly dramatic reactions to his start to the season.

We would do well to remember this guy scored in a World Cup final at just 18. He’s not the type to shrink from the light. He won’t always be perfect but he’s not gonna run from it.

Mbappé’s detractors will forever be plenty but the Frenchman didn’t scale to incredible heights in the game by being a soft touch and a timid soul. You’ve gotta have something about you and the fans at the Bernabeu who have kept supporting him will be rewarded in due time.
