Referee named for Champions League match between Real Madrid and Borussia Dortmund

UEFA have appointed Romanian referee Istvan Kovacs as the man in charge of this Tuesday’s match between Real Madrid and Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League.

István Kovács will referee the Champions League matchday three clash between Real Madrid and Borussia Dortmund, which will be played at the Santiago Bernabéu (Tuesday, 9 pm CEST). The Romanian matchday official will be taking charge of a game involving Madrid for the third time in the top continental competition.

–Liverpool–Real Madrid (2-5). First leg of the 2022/23 Champions League last 16.
–Manchester City–Real Madrid (4-3). First leg of the 2021/22 Champions League semi-finals.
