The first boats took to the water at the Nanchang International Dragon Boat Race in Nanchang, Jiangxi Province, to celebrate the annual Dragon Boat Festival on Saturday. Some 50 teams from China and abroad gathered to compete in this year’s championship, attracting fans from around the world. Dragon boat racing is a traditional Chinese watercraft that has been existing for over 2,000 years.
