The GK debate

Lunin is set to extend his stay at the club. Having two quality keepers is rare and the club will be lucky to keep Lunin.

There’s a strong sense that Courtois is in line to start the Champions League final. Militao might also be in with a shout. Lunin has come so far this season and it would be somewhat unjust for him to miss out on the Champions League final. There is no doubt that Courtois is the better keeper but he’s hardly played this season and it might back fire to throw him into the biggest game of the season.

Dani’s Future

As usual Dani Ceballos is on the market. There’s no reason to believe he will leave this summer. The club don’t need to sell and it’s unlikely anyone will put up the money for him.

Dani gets injured at the worst times and then doesn’t get into a rhythm until late in the season. It’s a cycle at this point.
