Arda Guler gets call-up for Turkey’s upcoming Nations League games

Real Madrid midfielder Arda Guler will feature for Turkey in their next two UEFA Nations League games in the upcoming international break, the national team’s official account announced on Friday.

Turkey will face Wales and Montenegro during this international break, and Guler will once again be an integral part of the squad’s bid to do as well as they can in the Nations League.

Turkey are currently top of their group with three wins and a draw in four games, with Wales sitting two points behind them.

Even though Guler has not played many minutes for Real Madrid since the last international break, he is always an integral cog in Turkey’s attack, and it can be expected to continue during this break.

This would also give the youngster some much-needed match fitness and momentum as he looks to fight for regular game time at Real Madrid. He has only played 15 minutes in the last four games, and these games could prove to be beneficial for him in more ways than one.
