Lexus Granito(up 18.32%), Oriental Trimex(up 11.93%), NMDC Ltd(up 5.59%), MOIL(up 4.56%), Gujarat Mineral Dvpt Corporation(up 4.05%), 20 Microns(up 3.46%), Sandur Manganese & Iron Ores(up 3.40%), KIOCL(up 3.32%), Madhav Marbles and Granites(up 1.79%) and Orissa Minerals Development Company(up 1.46%) stood among the top gainers.

Aro Granite Industries(down 0.51%) were among the top losers of the day.

The NSE Nifty50 index ended 104.9 points up at 21255.05, while the 30-share BSE Sensex closed up 358.79 points at 70865.1.

Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd.(up 2.29%), Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd.(up 2.28%), Britannia Industries Ltd.(up 2.11%), HDFC Bank Ltd.(up 1.79%), Hindalco Industries Ltd.(up 1.46%), NTPC Ltd.(up 1.44%), Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd.(up 1.43%), Reliance Industries Ltd.(up 1.4%), Apollo Hospitals Enterprise Ltd.(up 1.36%) and LTIMindtree Ltd.(up 1.3%) stood among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.

On the other hand, Bajaj Auto Ltd.(down 1.85%), Bajaj Finance Ltd.(down 1.69%), Axis Bank Ltd.(down 1.33%), HCL Technologies Ltd.(down 1.24%), Cipla Ltd.(down 1.16%), Bajaj Finserv Ltd.(down 0.83%), Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.(down 0.79%), Maruti Suzuki India Ltd.(down 0.67%), Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories Ltd.(down 0.44%) and SBI Life Insurance Company Ltd.(down 0.39%) closed in the red.
