NEW DELHI: Shares of Marico Ltd. traded 0.61 per cent in Wednesday’s trade at 10:05AM (IST). Around 13,580 shares changed hands on the counter.

The counter opened at Rs 595.15 and touched an intraday high and low of Rs 602.25 and Rs 590.00, respectively, in the session so far. The stock of Marico Ltd. quoted a 52-week high of Rs 719.80 and a 52-week low of Rs 486.75.

Total market cap of the Marico Ltd. stood at Rs 77943.51 crore at the time of writing this report.

Key Financials

The company reported consolidated net sales of Rs 2746.0000 crore for the quarter ended 30-Sep-2024, 2.46 per cent from previous quarter’s Rs 2680.0000 crore and 9.23 per cent from the year-ago quarter’s Rs 2514.0000 crore.

The net for latest quarter stood at Rs 423.0 crore, 19.83 per cent from the corresponding quarter last year.

Shareholding pattern
As of 30-Sep-2024, DIIs held 4.92 per cent stake in the firm, while foreign institutional investors held 24.87 per cent and the promoters 59.2 per cent.
Valuation ratio
According to BSE data, the stock traded at a price-to-earnings multiple of 49.08 and a price-to-book ratio of 16.73. A higher P/E ratio shows investors are willing to pay a higher price because of better future growth expectations.
